Who is this for? ¶
This workshop is designed for kids ages 7 and up and is a great way to keep your kids occupied whilst fostering their creativity.
We will all be attempting to paint the same masterpiece (see painting above), and having plenty of fun, alongside learning a fair bit, all at once! At the end, your kids will leave with a massive smile on their faces, and their own finished masterpieces.
No prior painting experience required.
The details. ¶
The cost of this workshop is $35 for each kid. Covid-19 and seating restrictions limit our capacity to 10 participants only (so get in fast!)
This workshop is scheduled to happen on the 15th of May, 2022 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm NZST and is going to be held at the iconic Two Todman.
What you can expect. ¶
You can definitely expect approximately 90 minutes of painting fun in a relaxed, creative, studio environment. Your kid will get to learn a few painting skills (I will be teaching them techniques as we paint), and at the end of it all they get to take home a finished painting to hang on their walls.
What’s included? ¶
The guided painting session apart, your kids will be provided with everything they need to create their masterpieces;
- High quality 10” x 12” stretched canvas
- Acrylic paint
- Brushes
- ..and the most important of them all, Inspiration!
You will need to bring an apron to keep your kids' clothes clean and a small rag to keep the brushes clean.
NB: The colours may vary from the painting shown above. That being said, the kids can absolutely decide to change/mix things up and choose any colours they want!
